free hand fish
I’ve been working on this piece of embroidery for several months now, picking it up for an hour or so, and putting it back down. Working on embroidery doesn’t irritate my shoulder like knitting does, and it’s wonderful to have a creative outlet again. It’s been a lot of fun, filling in whatever stitches and colors I felt like. Now I’m not sure what to do with it. I want to hang it up, but I’m not sure if I want to leave it in the hoop or frame it flat. If I do decide to leave it in the hoop I have to find out the proper way to do it. I’m not sure if I just trim all the extra fabric away, or just tuck it in behind it somehow.
Now I need to get to Michael’s and get more hoops. I already know what I want to work on next!
